To facilitate and promote dialogue and synergies between women leaders within the Mexican energy sector; from the public, private, civil society, and academic sectors; The German- Mexican Energy Partnership, successfully organized the event: "Promoting Synergies for a Diverse and Equitable Energy Sector" on October 18^th, 2022.

The event had fruitful dialogues and roundtables where efforts, actions, and strategies developed in each institution to enhance and promote a higher inclusiveness and participation of women in leadership roles and at decision-making regarding energy affairs.

The conversations were attended by professional women representing institutions such as CFE, the Secretariat for Energy Development of Tabasco, the German Confederation of Cooperatives, Amerali Group, Women in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Network, the International Energy Agency, among other key institutions in the Mexican energy sector.

With this event, the EP highlighted the importance of building strategic alliances to mainstream the gender perspective in the energy sector, following the goal of the initiative Women Energize Women.
